It's true, today it's more important than ever to be able to stay on top of your projects.

If you'd like a tool for managing your projects, you can use this application inspired by David Allen's GTD:

http://www.Gtdagenda.com

You can use it to manage your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use checklists, schedules and a calendar.
A mobile version and iCal are available too.

Dave,

I agree with you. However, I think that the post above says the same things. It's merely dissuading the reader from spending tons of time on low quality directories. The article mentions that some directories that it provides quality SEO benefits but don't expect too much traffic. I'm making the assumption that you are using good directories with quality exposure. Is that correct?

Perhaps you disagree with the point that says that you shouldn't expect a large increase in traffic? I'll admit that directories give targeted traffic, but perhaps you can share how much traffic you gained and how you went about getting traffic from directories.

You are right on target with the exception of the last one.

Using my own sites and client sites I have been able to not only increase traffic to a site using Directories but sales have increased significantly.

If I had to pick only one method, directories would be it.

That's kind of interesting as it looks nothing like the pie chart I see in google analytics. I see a huge majority of users using Firefox and only a small percentage using IE. Perhaps that's because the people visiting my are mostly webmasters and know better than to use IE!

dofollow blog commenting is definitely a good way to get backlinks to your site. However, many of them may not be of the highest quality so be careful where you're posting.
